So your Internet is slow today. Don’t blame your ISP. The internet around the world has been slowed down due to the biggest cyber-attack. The attack has affected Streaming Video services including Netflix and heading to cause wider disruptions in the online retail and banking sector. A row has erupted between a spam-fighting group and hosting firm has sparked retaliation attacks affecting the wider internet according to BBC. A dutch hosting company Cyberbunker server’s were blocked by Spamhaus which is a non-profit organisation which aims to help email providers filter out spam and other unwanted content. Cyberbunker was said to host lot of Spam and other non approved content. Spamhaus blocked it’s content and Cyberbunker has now been accused for the slow internet around the World. The attacks were first mentioned publicly last week by Cloudflare, an Internet security firm in Silicon Valley that was trying to defend against the attacks and as a result became a target.
